Efficient cap handling is a key component of any high-performing bottling line. Finn-Korkki provides bespoke cap chutes made specifically for your crown capping turret, ensuring smooth and reliable cap delivery to the cap applier.
After being sorted in the hopper, ring pull caps are transferred via the cap chute, using a combination of compressed air and gravity. Each chute is tailor-made to suit the layout and geometry of the customer’s capping machine, accommodating straight, twisted or angled paths, as needed.
Cap Transport Compatibility
Prior to reaching a sorting hopper, caps are typically moved through one of several systems:
- Magnetic elevators or belt conveyors
- Blow tube cap transport systems
These systems are similar to those used for standard crown cork closures. However, due to their aluminium construction, RipCap & Maxi-P closures most often use a blow tube system for effective transport.
